A Seasonally Appropriate Music Video
While browsing the Dubious Quality Blog I found a link to this fun video:
The artist is named Sean Quigley, a Canadian High School student.
Much Sadness and Some Joy
When I met Ron, he was a quiet man that had a tendency to blend into the background, until that sharp wit of his would drop a zinger from out of nowhere. He loved God, he loved his family, and he loved sports. Few things brought him more joy than watching his step daughters and grandchildren play. Few things lit a greater spark in him than watching UCLA play.
It is with much sadness that I say goodbye to Ron this evening. After a long and difficult struggle with Parkinson’s and Diabetes and several complications, Ron went to be with his Lord this evening. I take away some joy from the knowledge that he is celebrating with God after so many struggles. Goodbye my father-in-law; goodbye my friend.

Mumford & Sons
Part of the New London Folk movement, Mumford & Sons has some amazing music. Never thought I’d like banjo until I heard Mumford and the Decemberists. They make the banjo enjoyable.
Happy Dedication Day Chloe!
Graham Wilkinson
Bill Harris over at Dubious Quality introduced me to Graham Wilkinson. While I’m not sure that all of his music is to my liking, I really enjoy his song Focus.
